Black Hills Surgery Center Enlists Marketing Savvy of TDG Communications PDF print email

RAPID CITY, S.D. – (4/8/09) Black Hills Surgery Center has named the marketing firm of TDG Communications as its new agency-of-record and plans to build on its recent expansion with a new campaign to bolster awareness of the broad array of healthcare services it provides.

The Rapid City-based Black Hills Surgery Center opened its doors in January 1997 with two operating rooms, four overnight suites and 35 employees. Today, it offers a wide range of surgical procedures and has grown to include seven operating rooms, private step-down areas, 26 private recovery suites, a state-of-the-art imaging center and pain clinic, and nearly 300 highly skilled employees.

The Center’s team of surgeons, nurses and technologists specializes in a select variety of surgeries, May explained. Affiliated physicians perform specific procedures in general surgery, ear, nose and throat, gynecology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastic and reconstructive surgery, podiatry and urology, among others, he said.

In addition, Black Hills Surgery Center provides a state-of-the-art Imaging Center staffed by highly educated radiologists and technologists, as well as the region’s premiere Pain Clinic, staffed by qualified nurses and Board-certified pain and rehab specialists, May noted.

TDG Communications, founded in 1994, provides advertising, marketing, digital and public relations services to clients located from Washington, D.C. to Florida and Oregon, said Agency Director Dustin Floyd. With a staff of 17 professionals, Floyd said the agency was excited about the opportunity to assist the Black Hills Surgery Center.
